California Medical Association Alliance (CMA)
17480 High Street
Los Gatos, CA 95030
CMA Alliance is not an insurance company; they are an organization of physicians' spouses which have decided to become a part of a family interest. While they are based in California, their membership and services extend across the country. In 1970, an age where women were still working towards equal opportunities, the California Medical Association provided the Alliance with an official charter and one full-time staff member. Over the years, they were best known for their community involvement in health-related issues. Finally, in 1996, the California Medical Alliance became incorporated, achieved 501(c)6 status and gained financial independence from CMA. They now have 2,000 members.
