With this in mind, Continental General Insurance Company, which has been marketing insurance products since 1961, offers Floridians a myriad of “worry-free” insurance plans to choose from, including:
- PPO Plan: By choosing an in-network physician, you will save money, but you are free to choose any doctor you wish. These plans offer a choice of deductibles, well-visits, hospitalization, outpatient care and a prescription drug option. Optional maternity coverage may be available.
- Hospital Indemnity: This plan covers your care should you become injured or incapacitated. It will pay a portion of your hospital stay, medical procedures and after-release visits.
Continental General Insurance Company also offers a HSA-qualified plan, so members can take control of their own health coverage. In addition, they offer short-term plans for those who are in between two plans or are new to the state, student coverage for 19-23 year-olds, and dental plans.
